Structured into an introduction, nine chapters, and a conclusion, this book begins by tracing the early history of Saudi cinema, dating back to the 1930s when films were first distributed and screened among employees of the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco) in Dhahran. Each subsequent chapter offers a detailed analysis of the film that won the Golden Palm award in the corresponding edition of the Saudi Film Festival, spanning from 2008 to 2023.
